CyberShield Technologies Inc. is urgently seeking a skilled Part-Time Cybersecurity Specialist to protect our digital infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Document security incidents and remediation procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR standards
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or information security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
