Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure equity options trading systems using SIEM tools
- Conduct penetration testing on derivatives platforms
- Implement zero-trust architecture for options data pipelines
- Respond to security incidents with FINRA/NASD compliance
- Collaborate with trading desks on threat intelligence
- Document security protocols for options clearing systems
- Advise on regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, SEC)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services focus
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Experience securing options/futures trading platforms
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and market data encryption
- Expertise in threat modeling for financial systems
- Proficiency in Python for security automation
- Understanding of SEC Rule 15c3-3 compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
