Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed forensic reports
- Implement firewall rules and IDS/IPS configurations
- Coordinate incident response procedures during security breaches
- Develop security awareness training materials for clients
- Stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on incident response experience
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments
- Strong written communication for technical documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
