Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM systems for suspicious activity in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Respond to security incidents and develop containment strategies.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems and mitigate risks.
- Document security protocols and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark, Sentinel).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
