Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security systems 24/7 to detect and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our security infrastructure.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Investigate security incidents, root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure remote access points.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to non-technical staff members.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI models, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
