Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Investigate potential data breaches and coordinate the containment and recovery process.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with software development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CCNA Security are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
