We are looking for a highly skilled Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our infrastructure against evolving threats. In this role, you will work closely with our 24/7 SOC team, providing critical oversight and rapid response capabilities during off-peak hours and peak events.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools and IDS/IPS systems.
- Conduct detailed investigations into suspicious network activity and potential intrusions.
- Perform regular vulnerability scanning and risk assessments of corporate assets.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate security logs for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with the full-time engineering team to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems.
- Conduct security awareness training for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Active Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security administration.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid capacity.
