Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools to detect potential threats.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and periodic penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and anomalies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
- Document security procedures and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve system defenses.
- Provide security awareness training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, QRadar).
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks is a plus.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
