Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) alerts and investigate suspicious activities.
- Perform routine vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate mitigation efforts with the full-time team.
- Conduct log analysis to identify trends and potential risks within the network.
- Assist in the implementation of security patches and configuration updates.
- Document security findings and maintain detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and network monitoring systems.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and common attack vectors.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
