Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents within SLA guidelines for our equity options platforms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal trading networks.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA cybersecurity regulations.
- Implement and maintain firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Analyze security logs and generate reports on potential threats to executive leadership.
- Assist in the development of security awareness training for trading staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+ certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network security or SOC analysis within a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, encryption, and secure data transmission protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote/part-time capacity.
