Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and QRadar SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Document security incidents and generate forensic investigation reports
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
- Participate in quarterly security audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience or relevant certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Active CISSP or CEH certification preferred
- Experience with HIPAA/GDPR compliance frameworks
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site visits
