Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Investigate security incidents and develop remediation protocols
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams on security policy updates and compliance (NIST, HIPAA)
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (SIEM, incident response)
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site duties
