Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and remediate identified risks
- Analyze security alerts using forensic tools to determine root causes and mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection and response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass background check
