Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM systems 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Analyze network traffic and logs for suspicious activities using tools like Splunk
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on company systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
