Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to potential threats in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of internal networks.
- Maintain and configure firewalls, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of robust security policies and procedures.
- Support user access management, identity verification, and privilege reviews.
- Document security incidents and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Current CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds) is a significant plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and common threat vectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
