Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the network infrastructure to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Respond to security incidents and assist in the recovery process to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure secure configuration of servers and endpoints.
- Generate and analyze security reports for stakeholders to demonstrate compliance and risk status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and endpoint protection solutions.

- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while maintaining high standards of productivity.
