Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts in real-time to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with IT teams to mitigate risks and restore services.
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with ISO 27001 and GDPR standards.
- Perform daily log reviews and analyze system logs to detect anomalies or suspicious activities.
- Assist in the creation of security awareness training materials and conduct regular staff training sessions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and compliance officers to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Current certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
