Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalous network behavior
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Investigate security alerts, document findings, and recommend remediation actions
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate monthly cybersecurity dashboards for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms (MISP, AlienVault)
- Experience with incident response and forensics methodologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
