Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for enterprise environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines
- Document security procedures and create executive threat reports
- Mentor junior team members during collaborative projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on threat detection experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with Linux/Windows hardening and compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid U.S. security clearance preferred
