Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to achieve 30%+ cost efficiency
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Monitor system performance using cloud-native monitoring solutions
- Document architecture decisions and create technical runbooks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing exercises
- Mentor junior engineers through our peer-review process
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with major providers
- Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS)
- Understanding of network security principles and zero-trust architecture
