Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Extract data from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and perform complex data modeling using Python and R.
- Visualization: Design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical queries.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve overall data workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with ETL processes is highly preferred.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems through data.
