Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement robust security protocols, including identity management and data encryption.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Software Engineering teams to optimize application performance.
- Conduct cost analysis and optimization strategies to maximize cloud resource efficiency.
- Document architecture diagrams and technical specifications for stakeholder review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Must be available to work a part-time schedule within Jacksonville business hours.
