Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure services.
- Automation & CI/CD: Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency and high availability.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA) within the cloud environment.
- Scripting & Tooling: Develop automation scripts using Python or Bash to reduce manual operational overhead.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and development teams to troubleshoot complex cloud-native issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Certifications: Professional certification in AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Technologies: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- OS Skills: Strong working knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder updates.
- Schedule: Ability to commit to a reliable part-time schedule (e.g., 20-30 hours per week).
