Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance software systems for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable backend solutions
- Troubleshoot complex system issues during night shift operations (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Participate in Agile development cycles with daily standups and sprint planning
- Document technical specifications and maintain version control best practices
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code review sessions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization for automated deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# with cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure)
- Strong debugging skills with experience in production environments
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Ability to work independently during night shift with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative communication abilities
- Willingness to relocate to Baltimore, MD or North Carolina offices
