Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM tools 24/7 during weekend shifts to identify anomalies and potential breaches.
- Conduct thorough incident response and forensics analysis for weekend alerts.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with the core security team during off-hours to escalate critical issues.
- Document incidents, root causes, and remediation steps in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
- Provide 2nd level support for security tickets and manage access requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC, or Network Security.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours.
- Relocation assistance eligibility required.
- Must be willing to work a rotating weekend schedule.
