Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through agile methodologies to deliver high-quality features
- Debug and resolve complex system issues during night shift operations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in debugging production systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM MST)
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
