Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java/Python
- Lead code reviews and optimize system performance for high-traffic APIs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Debug and resolve critical production issues during night shift hours
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture planning
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with backend development (Java/Python)
- Proficiency in AWS/GCP services and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Preferred: CI/CD certification (AWS/GCP)
