Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement complex backend systems and APIs
- Optimize system performance and security through rigorous code reviews and testing
- Maintain and troubleshoot production systems during night shift operations
- Lead technical initiatives for scalability improvements and feature enhancements
- Document architecture decisions and contribute to knowledge sharing sessions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
