Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems during overnight shifts
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies for real-time deployments
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead incident response and system troubleshooting during peak operational hours
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company roadmap
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in backend development with Python/Java/C++
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in database optimization (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with night shift or 24/7 operational environments
- Proficient in Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI), and cloud platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with production system debugging
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision during overnight hours
