Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems supporting high-traffic applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during handovers for seamless workflow continuity
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Debug and resolve production issues during night shift coverage
- Contribute to code reviews and architectural documentation
- Optimize system performance and security protocols
- Monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and implement disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python preferred)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Strong written communication for handover documentation
