Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance backend systems using cloud-native technologies
- Collaborate with global teams via agile methodologies to deliver mission-critical features
- Optimize application performance and security protocols for 24/7 operations
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining rigorous quality standards
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring
- Resolve complex production issues with minimal disruption to service
- Contribute to open-source projects and emerging technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development in distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure)
- Proven track record with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Ability to work independently during night shift with proactive communication
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
