Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Optimize system performance through continuous monitoring and iterative improvements
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base articles
- Provide 24/7 operational support for production systems during night shift
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience with Java, Python, or Go backend development
- Expertise in AWS/GCP infrastructure and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in RESTful API design and database optimization
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system debugging capabilities
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
