Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java, Python, and Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead code reviews and mentor night shift engineering team members
- Collaborate with Florida-based product teams during handover periods
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Resolve production issues and implement proactive monitoring solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company innovation goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience with distributed systems and cloud architectures
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong problem-solving skills with production debugging experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones (primarily EST/PST)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Preferred: Night shift or rotating shift experience
