Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with global teams via agile methodologies during overnight sprint cycles
- Maintain and optimize existing systems while implementing new features
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for production system support
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Proficiency with AWS/Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL solutions
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
