Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs supporting global traffic
- Lead incident response and system optimization during night shift hours
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on accelerated timelines
- Contribute to on-call rotation and proactive system monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Drive performance improvements and security hardening for production systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud-native development experience
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP services
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management
- Excellent problem-solving skills with focus on system reliability
- Strong written communication for async collaboration across time zones
