Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours (6 PM - 2 AM MST)
- Conduct code reviews and optimize system performance
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive test suites
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
