Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Node.js and Python
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using AWS DevOps tools
- Conduct nightly system health checks and incident response
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Drive cloud infrastructure modernization on AWS
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development
- Expertise in distributed systems and REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
- Experience with night shift or remote global collaboration
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
