Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize database performance for 24/7 transactional systems
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation for night shift deployments
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours (6AM-9AM)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Implement security-first coding practices for cloud-native applications
- Own incident response during overnight production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years backend development with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong testing practices (unit, integration, chaos engineering)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- CI/CD pipeline mastery (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
