Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend systems using microservices architecture
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Perform system monitoring and incident response during night shift hours
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database design
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
