Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems in Java/Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 24/7 reliability
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours (PST/EST)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with rapid response SLAs
- Lead code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Document technical specifications and API integrations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar OOP languages
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and debugging expertise
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
