Our night shift team operates 10 PM - 6 AM CT, offering flexible daytime schedules for personal pursuits. You'll collaborate with global teams using agile methodologies to develop cloud-native applications and microservices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing infrastructure
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (Java preferred)
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching strategies
- Proficient in Linux environments and shell scripting
- Proven problem-solving skills with production systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
