Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java/Python and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with global teams via agile methodologies to deliver high-availability cloud solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous deployment
- Troubleshoot complex system issues during off-peak hours with real-time monitoring tools
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining technical documentation
- Optimize system performance and security protocols for 24/7 operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with Java or Python
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
