Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java, Python, or Node.js
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Proficiency in relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture patterns
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
