Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Optimize database performance for high-traffic applications
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours (9 AM - 11 AM)
- Troubleshoot complex production issues during overnight coverage
- Contribute to 24/7 system monitoring and incident response
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
