Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems serving 2M+ daily users
- Implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes for cloud-native scalability
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform to reduce deployment cycles by 40%
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement robust monitoring and incident response protocols
- Drive technical debt reduction through automated testing and refactoring initiatives
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical system components
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of backend development experience
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with demonstrated system design skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration
- Strong foundation in RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems under production load
- Excellent written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Relevant night shift or timezone-flexible work experience preferred
- CI/CD pipeline automation experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI
