Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform
- Lead incident response and on-call rotations for cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver microservices on AWS
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers during shift hours
- Optimize system performance for high-availability applications
- Document technical specifications and architecture decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with incident management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
