Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance C++/Java systems for options pricing and risk analytics
- Implement low-latency order execution and market data processing pipelines
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate financial models into production code
- Optimize trading algorithms for microsecond performance in overnight sessions
- Build robust testing frameworks for options valuation models and market simulations
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems during overnight trading hours
- Document system architecture and contribute to technical design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in low-latency financial systems or HPC environments
- Expert proficiency in C++ and/or Java with multithreading mastery
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo)
- Experience with FIX protocol and electronic trading platforms
- Familiarity with Linux kernel tuning and network optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex distributed systems debugging
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM PT)
