Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement security protocols
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages
- Collaborate with cloud services team for hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or equivalent experience (3+ years)
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing network issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
