Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform routine network audits, documentation, and updates to ensure system integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Manage cabling infrastructure, including fiber and copper installations.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to deploy new network solutions and upgrades.
- Ensure all network security protocols and compliance standards are met.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for cable installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
