Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal security and uptime.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and software issues.
- Conduct network audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
